This NVG Interface System replaces the original ball and socket mount with a more permanent dovetail mount.  This new mounting system is installed by removing the existing ball and socket mount by simply removing one or two screws and sliding the new dovetail mount into the existing hole and replacing the screws. The new mounting system includes a helmet strap, battery pack and a magnetically coupled power connector.
