The
5050, AN/PVS-23, binocular night vision goggle is derived from the proven design of the AN/AVS-6 Aviator’s Night Vision
Imaging System (ANVIS), and is built with optics and image intensifiers that are similar to the ANVIS systems.
The 5050 is designed to meet the need for a rugged night vision binocular in ground and sea based applications which
require increased depth perception for driving. The AN/PVS-23 binocular incorporates two high-resolution
Gen III image intensifiers. Available in gated Pinnacle and non-gated Gen III configurations.
